Forum Rules

These are the general rules of the Nexus. Please follow them.

• The Nexus is administered by Stuart, who holds the rank of Chancellor. He may appoint Lore Lords or Heads of Faculty to act as moderators. If you're out of order they'll come and shout at you.
• Play nice. Everyone won't get along all the time but let's try and maintain a friendly atmosphere. In some boards debate is actively encouraged but keep it civil and don't become abusive. Personal arguments should be kept to private messages - or better still not bothered with at all.
• Racism, sexism, bigotry or any other form of harrassment won't be tolerated and may get you banned.
• Keep within the law. The forum is based in the UK and hosted in the US and you're based in whatever country you're in. Don't post anything that's illegal in any of those countries.
• Spammers will be shot. And banned.
• Members might be accessing the forum at work or with their children so keep all images work-safe and inoffensive.
• No moving images in avatars and no images at all in signatures. They just slow the board down, clutter it up and annoy Stuart.
• If you must use smilies, don't go overboard. Posts that are full of every smilie available will be deleted. The same goes for those massive flashing letters or posts in bright pink that you think make you look like a fun person. They don't. They just make you look like a child. If you are a child, use a colouring book.
